We welcome you to Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology, and look forward to a long, healthy relationship. Before your first visit, there are some things we'd like you to know:
Please bring your insurance card with you to all appointments, and understand that we are required to collect your co-pay at the front window before you are seen for your appointment. This procedure is part of our contractual obligation with your insurance provider, and we do not have the authority to change it, or make exceptions.
Please understand that our knowledge of your insurance benefits is general. We suggest that you read about the benefits your plan offers prior to your first appointment with us and call your insurance provider directly with any questions.
When you call the Center with common questions or minor problems, please be ready with as much information as possible to help us. Our qualified Medical Assistants and Nurses can help with advice or treatment options according to our guidelines. If they are uncertain, they will consult with a physician and return your call. Should your situation be an emergency, you will be asked to go directly to Women and Infant's Hospital for evaluation.
