Doreen Wiggins, M.D.

Center for Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Graduated from the University of Rhode Island
• Received her MD from Brown University
• Completed her OB/GYN residency at Women & Infant's Hospital
• Completed a Breast Fellowship at the Breast Health Center in 2004.

Dr. Wiggins is the founder of Center for OB/GYN. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including, teaching Excellence Award from Brown University Medical Students.

She is Co-Director of the Center for Sexuality, Intimacy and Fertility through the Women's Oncology at Women & Infant's Hospital, dedicated to improving the quality of life for cancer patients.

Dr. Wiggins completed training as a children's grief counselor at the Dougy Center in Oregon and has put that training into practice at Friend's Way in Warwick.

As an advocate for cancer patients, Dr. Wiggins has forged a relationship with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, participating in the transcontinental Tour of Hope, speaking in Congress in Washington, DC and summited California's Mt. Shasta (over 14,000 ft.) for the Breast Cancer Fund.

Dr. Wiggins enjoys spending her free time with her five children.
